Back in high school, I noticed many classmates didn’t know what was happening in the world, which sparked a question: what if global news could be simple and accessible? That idea became Scalar News, a WhatsApp-based platform delivering current affairs in under 60 words from reputable sources, quickly growing to 40,000 daily readers and over 4 million yearly impressions. I had to pause when I started college, but this summer I came back with a bigger vision—to automate the process, make it smarter, and launch it as a full-fledged app. Today, I’m excited to announce the official launch of the Scalar News App.
Scalar News brings you personalized updates tailored to your interests and location, combining local and global coverage in a single feed. Stay informed with bite-sized summaries that reduce complex stories to 60–150 words, always linking back to reputable sources. With built-in transparency and references, you can dive deeper whenever you choose.
