Build Fast, Validate Faster

Spamming Cursor or Claude Code and hoping the market reacts is not the move.

The tools are insane right now. You can ship an MVP in a weekend. You can wire up auth, payments, AI features, and deploy in hours.

But none of that matters if no one actually wants what you built.

I learned this the hard way with herdright [dot] com

We built fast. Clean UI. Strong backend. Payments working. Matching logic. The whole thing. From a technical standpoint, it was solid.

But we didn’t spend enough time in real customer discovery at the beginning. Not enough uncomfortable conversations. Not enough validation around buying behavior, trust dynamics, and how deals were actually happening offline.

We built what made sense to us.
The market didn’t fully agree.
That’s a painful lesson.

Shipping fast is powerful. Vibecoding is powerful. Cursor is powerful.

But customer discovery is more powerful.

Before you write 10,000 lines of code, have 30 real conversations.

Before you optimize your database, validate the problem.
Before you polish the UI, make sure someone is desperate for the solution.

Code is leverage.
But insight is everything.

Build fast but validate faster.
