updates on The Brik. live in 3 retailers. finally sold enough to break even on this batch.
3 years ago if you asked me what would be the hardest thing about building something, i’d say execution. but today i’d say distribution. execution feels way more accessible today. distribution is harder.
i wasn’t really even thinking about that until Lawrence brought it up a couple days ago to me.
3 years ago i didn’t know how to build software or cad designs. luckily i got better at it and the resources on the internet got better for me to learn. i hope i can say the same thing for distribution in 3 years.
big learning lessons: i suck at social media content making, so i’m trying to learn how to make better videos. cold approaching stores isn’t the move. gotta respect their time and also just emails work better.
